For my final year film, we created a full 3D short with four members as part of our core group, two freelance animators, and one music composer.
I was responsible for rigging and editing the final film and we were all happy to complete our film and enter it into competitions.
Our film featured two mantis characters: one kungfu mantis in red and an elder in white. Our story was about a young kungfu trainer who bothers the elder who just wants peace.
2019-2020 Rigging Showreel
This is my 2019-2020 rigging showreel during my second year at University. I was part of a VFX short called XOLO and in my real I rigger as a part-time project with a modeller to create a cat rig.
Rigging Showreel - Final Encore
This is my final gold submission for my second year at university. We planned on making a short film featuring a violinist robot who plays on stage for the last time reminiscing her life as a performer.
I was responsible for rigging the robot violinist and the violin prop. They work together and separate. I really enjoyed creating a complicated prop for my rigging peace and I look forward to creating more.
Rigging Showreel - Rigging Submission 2019
This was my second year rigging submission that I am very proud of. I created IK/FK controls and I created my own blend shapes for the face. This was the first time I rigged a creature and I fully enjoyed learning the whole process of building a rig, skinning and having it ready for animation.
